
Apprenticeships are a way to continue to learn whilst working and gaining qualifications (NVQs), which are recognised and valued nationally by employers. You will be working for an employer and get paid.
Apprenticeships are available to young people aged 16 - 24 in a wide range of occupational areas ranging from Accounting to Wood trades.
Apprenticeship training programmes normally last between 1-3 years and usually include day release. You will receive advice, guidance and support to help you succeed in your chosen career.
